Jay agrees. I mean, it's a Sunday during football season. There's a fair crowd around the Sportsbook but very few bartop players. Break time for vittles. Time to burn some of the food comp.

Back to where it all started. Wally shorty to watch the Skins lose. Again. Hank Bonefish is off today. I won't see him again till the next trip. But our Daniel is working and we play catch up with the goings on of our respective clans. Daniel went from Barback to Bartender about this time last year. He still doesn't have a regular shift. He just fills in to cover days off, sick days, and vacations. He is bidding on a midnight shift next week. He said he probably won't get it. Low man on the totem pole. Daniel goes on break and I am having a dearth of luck at my trusty shorty. Time for something a little more hard core. They moved the full pay slants from in front of the buffet to near Invited Guests. They offer a variety of 99% games. But only in .25 denomination. I dial up DBDW and insert coin.

These particular machines are right in front of the Licker Store. Licker in the front, poker in the rear. 300. profit! I strolled over to Invited Guests and hit May up for a Temptations ticket. They are playing at the Showroom tonight. The Temps were by far my favorite Motown band. I used to play the hell out of their albums and made several Temps mixed tapes. Good vibes. Higher Limit time.

I had gotten a 10. MP earlier from the BConned boothling and my Sweet Ti wants me to play 14/17/19/21/24 so I buy in for a hundy.
It's a 5. table. I play my MP on red and play S.T.'s numbers inside. 8 black. The only other people playing are a couple. They are using red and green chips. Just regular chips. Playing the outside. They did well and soon were betting green stacks. I never hit a single number and left wishing them well. My notes remind me that I found the Money Rain .50/1. machine in Higher Limit that they hid from me. But my photos reveal a lack of screenshots.

The Prime Rib Loft calls. Well, it does in my mind. I figure it's a good way to use up some food comps. I seriously doubt if I will use all of the 120. I have left. Lorenzo escorts me to my lonely diner table and pretty much forgets about me. He is busy with a large table so I pretty much wait my turn. I finally order the Cajun cut prime rib. With scampi shrimp. The only dish that is bilingual. Shrimp in French, shrimp in English. Garlic smashed, and a big chunk of cheesecake for later. As a matter of fact, most of the meal ended up upstairs. Way too much food. The prices here are relatively cheap too. Even with the spotty service I tipped my minimum- 30%. Back to the room to load up the fridge I find a Keno ticket I purchased earlier. I always play a couple of these tickets each visit. 20 games for 20. 5 spot. I watched the results for a couple of the games on the BConned abb and I'm pretty sure I won something. I head back down to the Keno Parlor and notice the crowds around the Showroom. Shit the Bed- I forgot all about the Temps. I cash in- 15.!!! and run back up for my ticket and a fresh brew. I made it back and just found my seat as the houselights dimmed. Showtime. I had a seat in the back at the end of a row. It was perfect. There's really not a bad seat in the house.They had a 13 piece band backing them up. It was quite the performance. And unlike Three Dog Night, the Temps actually played their hits all the way thru. Their Super Freek Fans packed the place. Everybody was dancin' in the seats until they played My Girl. Then we Danced everywhere.
Truth be known that video is from a few years ago, but y'all get the gist. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was about to call it a night but got sucked back in by a Buffalo Spirit machine. Now I call it a night let's check out how I did.

Which comes out to around 8.69 per tear. Considering how much VP I played today, It's better than I expected. But it's still a crapshoot figuring out the sweet spot. I can pretty much do 15 days a year either here or at the IP in Biloxi. The next yer will be the test. So after 8 days of fairly steady gamboling, most of it on slots, I'm down about a grand. I can handle that. One more day to go y'all!
